Issa Tchiroma Bakary said he would boycott any new elections until his claim to have won Cameroon’s 2025 presidential election is met. He also challenged the FSNC’s three-month suspension, calling it a “non-event.” A fire at Metafrique Steel in Douala-Bassa reportedly killed four people and seriously injured 16; an explosion is said to have preceded the blaze. Cameroon’s young Lions are expected back in Yaoundé on November 3 at around 1:30 a.m. after competing at the FIFA U15 Festival in Azerbaijan, where they finished 23rd in Division A and beat Australia 2-0 in their final match.
