Ebola in Beni: Seven Students Infected in Two Weeks in Mangina

At least seven students have tested positive for Ebola in two weeks in Mangina, in the Mabalako health zone of North Kivu: two secondary-school students and five primary-school pupils. The SYNECATH, through parish delegate Muhindo Musubao Kiwanza, has warned that several schools lack adequate prevention supplies and handwashing facilities. The union is urging health authorities, the Ebola response team and local political leaders to provide prevention kits and strengthen protective measures in schools.
