Ebola: Information Minister orders nationwide public awareness campaign

The woman, who recently travelled from Uganda to Abuja, is in isolation and receiving treatment; health authorities have identified and are monitoring her contacts. Idris tasked public media and the National Orientation Agency with sharing verified information, including prevention messages in Nigerian languages and outreach through community, traditional and religious leaders. He urged Nigerians to remain calm, rely on official sources and avoid spreading unverified claims on social media.
