Embrace intelligence-led policing, not use of force, Bakori tells graduating cadets

Kano State Commissioner of Police Ibrahim Adamu Bakori urged graduating Cadet Assistant Superintendents of Police at the Nigeria Police Academy in Wudil to prioritize intelligence gathering, modern technology and respect for human rights. Addressing Course 8, he said effective policing also depends on democratic principles, strategic communication and public confidence, rather than relying on force.
