Fear of insecurity, financial pressure kept many Nigerians from Eid travel

The Muslim Public Affairs Centre (MPAC) called on leaders to address rising insecurity and economic hardship in Nigeria, noting that many families were unable to travel for Eid-ul-Adha due to fear from kidnappings and violence. MPAC condemned the humanitarian crisis in Palestine, describing it as a "painful stain on the conscience of the modern world." The organization prayed for pilgrims performing Hajj and urged Muslims to promote more just and compassionate communities.
