From platform to economic activity: Yango's contribution to the Cameroon International Tech Summit 2026

As the official mobility partner of the 2026 Cameroon International Tech Summit, Yango showed how its platform generates income and business opportunities for drivers and transport companies while providing services to users. Held from October 15 to 17 at the Yaoundé Conference Centre, the summit was organized by Mountain Hub with the UN Development Programme as an official partner and brought together government officials, investors, entrepreneurs and young innovators. Yango has operated in Douala and Yaoundé since 2021 and expanded to Bafoussam in March 2025. The article also reports that more than 150 Cameroonian companies are connected to its activities.
