North Korea slams FBI allegations over Binance hack as a ‘grave’ provocation

Kim Yo Jong denounced the FBI’s claim that the North Korea-linked hacking group TraderTraitor stole $6 billion from Binance, calling it a “grave political provocation.” She said Washington was seeking to damage North Korea’s image and sovereignty and rejected accusations of cybercrime. TraderTraitor was also blamed for stealing $1.5 billion from the Bybit platform in February of the previous year. Donald Trump said the United States did not know whether North Korea was involved, while Pyongyang condemned Washington’s hostile attitude.
