Guinea: Two major returns and a new omission from Paulo Duarte’s squad

Paulo Duarte has named a 25-man Guinea squad for the two matches against Eritrea on November 12 and 16 in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Amadou Diawara and Mouctar Diakhaby return, while Yakhouba Gnagna Barry and Thierno Barry are also back with the Syli National. Ibrahim Diakité, previously called up, has been left out after limited playing time in recent matches; Naby Keita, Mohamed Bayo and Morgan Guilavogui remain absent, and three players are unavailable through injury. Guinea are second in Group D, three points behind South Africa, and need two wins to move closer to qualification.
