Hardship: Ulasi says opposition failing to win voters’ support

PDP chieftain Dan Ulasi said opposition parties are failing to turn Nigerians’ frustration over the rising cost of living, food prices and petrol into political support. Speaking on Arise Television, he faulted them for not holding town halls or presenting clear alternatives to the APC-led government, and said the opposition is more divided than it was in 2023. Ulasi, who supports Peter Obi, predicted that the candidate could defeat Bola Tinubu in Lagos in the 2027 election. He also urged Tinubu to explain his government’s record at town halls across the country and stressed the need for a free and fair vote.
