Hisbah arrests three women over alleged drug use in Jigawa

The Jigawa State Hisbah Board arrested three women, aged 19, 21 and 24, during an operation at the Quba residential complex in Maigatari. The raid was led by Malam Abdullahi Ibrahim Galadi, who headed the board’s local branch team. The women were taken to the board’s office for investigation and later counselled about the dangers of drug use and the importance of good moral conduct. The board reaffirmed its commitment to tackling activities it regards as social vices across the state.
