Hunger: Tinubu hits back at Atiku, asks how he built a university as vice president

At a Rainbow Coalition campaign rally at Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt, Bola Tinubu responded to criticism over hunger and economic hardship, saying he was addressing problems left by previous governments. He accused former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of contributing to those problems and asked how Atiku built a university while serving as vice president in charge of economic affairs under Olusegun Obasanjo. Tinubu also questioned Atiku’s integrity and thanked Rivers residents for supporting him in the 2023 presidential election. He said he was seeking a second term because voters believed in him and in his concern for them.
