I Never Protested Against Jonathan; I Carried a Placard on a Prayer Walk, Pastor Adeboye Says

Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), denied protesting against former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan. He said the photograph of him carrying a placard was taken in 2020 during a prayer walk in Ebute Metta, held at the request of the president of the Christian Association of Nigeria. Adeboye said the image was wrongly portrayed as dating from 2015, when Jonathan left office.
