India and West Indies denied a thrilling finale as rain hits final T20

India and the West Indies finished their five-match T20 international series in a 2-2 draw after rain washed out the deciding match in Bengaluru. Delayed by an hour and 45 minutes and reduced to nine overs per side, the game was abandoned when India had reached 118-5 in 7.4 overs. Ishan Kishan, Sanju Samson and Naman Dhir, who scored an unbeaten 24 from six balls, led India’s batting charge. More than 20,000 fans attended the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium’s first international fixture since October 2024.
