Over 1,000 protesters, including opposition politicians, journalists, student leaders, lawyers, and founders of the satirical 'Cockroach' (CJP) youth movement, were detained by police in New Delhi during a demonstration demanding the resignation of Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
