Instagram to Let Selected Creators Upload Videos Up to 90 Minutes Long

Instagram is testing a feature called “Features” that will let selected creators upload videos up to 90 minutes long. Users will be able to move from a short vertical clip to the full video, shown horizontally in the app, and creators may link up to eight short clips to one long video. After an initial test in Brazil, the feature is expanding to selected creators in the United States as Instagram seeks to host more podcasts, interviews and entertainment shows.

Banks start enforcing 16% VAT on digital payment charges

Banks and fintech companies have begun adding 16% VAT to fees for processing electronic payments, settling card transactions and operating payment gateways. The tax is raising digital payment costs for businesses and households. A Business Daily spot check found that banks and payment companies had configured their systems to apply the levy, which took effect in July.
