International Day of the Girl Child: NACTAL Commends Abiodun, Raises Alarm Over Out-of-School Girls

NACTAL in Ogun State commended the government for its interventions in support of girls but raised concerns over the increasing number of street girls vulnerable to trafficking and abuse, who hawk during school hours. Olusola praised Governor Dapo Abiodun's investments in education, child protection, and women’s empowerment, while urging targeted re-enrollment of out-of-school girls and support for indigent families. He called on parents to stop sending daughters to hawk or marry early, emphasizing the importance of investing in girls' education and protection.
