International Day of the Girl: Ending Child Marriage and Investing in Girls' Rights

On October 11, the International Day of the Girl was observed with the theme 'Ending Child Marriage and Investing in Girls' Rights'. The day aims to raise global awareness about the challenges faced by millions of girls, including early marriage, school dropout, and gender-based violence. UNESCO reports that 133 million girls worldwide are not in school, emphasizing education as a key tool to fight poverty and forced unions.
