‘It’s easier to put me in prison than take my phone away,’ says Dangote

At an event in Lagos, Aliko Dangote said he would rather be imprisoned than have his phone taken away, describing going without it as a no-go area. Asked to choose between spending a week without his phone or giving up access to his private jet, he said parting with his phone would be harder. He revealed that the device holds more than 13,000 contacts and said he rarely blocks people. Dangote was unveiling his “Vision 2030” plan for Africa’s industrial revolution.
