Ivory Coast: After returning from Mali, Coach Medhi remanded at Abidjan penitentiary

Influencer Coach Medhi was remanded at Abidjan penitentiary after appearing before prosecutors on October 30, 2026. He faces alleged rape, sexual assault and violence accusations, which he denies; 17 women were received by the Ministry of Women, Family and Children, and a collective complaint was filed. Arrested in Mali around August 20, he was handed over to Ivorian authorities on October 29 through cooperation between the two countries’ security services.
