Jeffrey Donaldson to be interviewed over alleged rape inside Houses of Parliament

Jeffrey Donaldson, the former MP and Democratic Unionist Party leader, is to be interviewed by London police over the alleged rape of a woman in Westminster in 2016. The alleged victim was interviewed by the Police Service of Northern Ireland, which passed her claims to the Metropolitan Police because the incident reportedly took place in London. The Met confirmed it is investigating an allegation against a 63-year-old man and said one victim is receiving support from specialist officers. The investigation is at an early stage; no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
