Kanayo, Kate Henshaw and Others Mourn Francis Duru

Veteran Nollywood actor Francis Duru died on Friday at age 57 after a brief illness, the News Agency of Nigeria reported. Kanayo O. Kanayo, Kate Henshaw, Mercy Johnson-Okojie and Stephanie Linus paid tribute, praising his talent and expressing their grief. Duru was known for playing Ahanna in Amaka Igwe’s film Rattlesnake and had a career spanning more than three decades. His death comes two years after the loss of his 15-year-old son, Ifeanyi.
