Kenya’s economy grows 5.1% despite Iran war price shocks

Kenya’s economy grew by 5.1% in the second quarter, through June, despite the effects of the Iran war and below-average rainfall. The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) reported the growth.

Oyo State Governor and Allied Peoples Movement presidential candidate Seyi Makinde says delays in distributing states’ shares of Nigeria LNG dividends are hampering development planning and infrastructure investment.
