Synthetic General Tax: 15 billion FCFA transferred to municipalities, companies contest the withholding delay

Nearly 15 billion FCFA were collected and transferred to municipalities in the first half of 2026 under the Synthetic General Tax (IGS) for the 2025 fiscal year, according to Roger Athanase Meyong Abath, the Director General of Taxes.
