Members of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) in Nasarawa State staged a peaceful protest at the High Court in Lafia, demanding a 58.1% salary increase and financial autonomy for the judiciary. JUSUN Chairman Comrade Mas’ud Ubangari urged members to remain united and law-abiding in their pursuit of these demands. However, the court's management stated that measures were already in place to address these issues, labeling the strike as illegal due to a restraining order from the National Industrial Court.
