Anatomy: Okanlawon retires after 44 years, leaves legacy of scholars

Professor Olugbenga Abayomi Okanlawon is retiring from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, after 44 years in academic medicine. He is recognized for training and mentoring generations of scholars. His academic journey began with a distinction in Anatomy in 1977, and he became a professor in 2003. Okanlawon has published over 60 scholarly papers and supervised more than 15 PhD candidates.
