Lagos: 116,745 PVCs for newly registered voters remain uncollected

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Lagos State says 116,745 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) issued to people registered in the first phase of the 2025 Continuous Voter Registration exercise remain uncollected. Of the 177,295 cards received, 60,550 had been collected, according to the commission’s weekly update as of Monday. Lagos INEC Administrative Secretary Adenike Tadese said voters must collect the cards in person at local government offices and urged them to do so before the collection window closes ahead of the 2027 general elections. PVCs for eligible residents registered during the 2026 exercise are expected to be ready soon.
