Machetes, wheelbarrows and SOTACI roofing sheets steal the show at San-Pédro Planters’ Day

The 10th Planters’ Day took place from October 22 to 24, 2026, at the Rotari venue in San-Pédro, where SOTACI’s stand drew planters, researchers, students and other visitors. The Ivorian company showcased machetes under the Éléphants, Planteurs and Alligator brands, along with wheelbarrows, roofing sheets and gutters. Visitors learned about machete models suited to tasks including heavy work, land clearing and weeding. Smaïlla Kandé, a planter for 25 years, said the SOTACI machetes, files and boots he uses help make work easier for his teams.
