Manchester United: Baleba reminds Schmeichel of Pogba

After Manchester United drew 1-1 with Leeds and lost to Atlético in the Champions League, Peter Schmeichel praised Carlos Baleba’s potential. The former Red Devils goalkeeper noted the Cameroonian midfielder’s composure under pressure and his emerging partnership with Andrey Santos, despite their having started together only twice. A move in which Baleba skillfully beat Stach reminded Schmeichel of Paul Pogba’s ability to keep the ball in tight spaces and escape pressing. Schmeichel said Baleba’s talent and physical strength could make him a major player.
