Breaking: CAS notifies the Senegalese Football Federation

The Court of Arbitration for Sport informed the Senegalese Football Federation, the Moroccan Football Federation and CAF that its decision in the Senegal-Morocco dispute will not be issued until the end of November. The arbitrators chose to deliver a full award with legal reasoning, ruling out the previously speculated October 18–22 decision window. The dispute concerns the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final, which Senegal won 1-0 after extra time in Rabat on January 18, 2026. In March, CAF declared Senegal to have forfeited and recorded a 3-0 win for Morocco; the Senegalese federation appealed that decision to CAS.
