Marseille: “Nouhoum Kamissoko still has to grow,” says Mali coach Tony of the club’s rising star

Nouhoum Kamissoko, an Olympique de Marseille midfielder, has made his first Ligue 1 starts this season and scored in the club’s 5–2 win at Angers. Mali coach Anthony da Silva, known as Tony, confirmed that Kamissoko is on his preliminary list for the November 13 and 17 matches against Rwanda in 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying. Da Silva said he had been monitoring the player before his Marseille breakthrough but believes he still needs to mature both physically and mentally.
