MC Alger: Supporters Attempt to Enter Dressing Room as CAF Is Petitioned
After MC Alger lost 2-0 to Enugu Rangers in Abeokuta on Sunday, Algerian supporters allegedly caused disorder at the stadium and confronted coach Khaled Ben Yahia near the dressing-room tunnel. Security forces intervened to protect and escort the Tunisian coach, while a member of his staff was reportedly assaulted. Enugu Rangers petitioned CAF, accusing visiting supporters of forcing open a stadium entrance, entering without paying and damaging seats. The Nigerian club is seeking an investigation, reimbursement for lost gate receipts and security guarantees for the return leg in Algiers, and has asked CAF to consider holding the match behind closed doors.
