Messi and Inter Miami fail to fire as late goal earns Cincinnati a draw

Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami drew 2-2 with Cincinnati in MLS after Luis Suárez put Miami ahead in the 61st minute. Cincinnati scored twice in quick succession, including an 80th-minute curling effort from Kenji Mboma Dem, before substitute Riquelme Fillipi equalised late. The result hurt Miami’s bid for the Eastern Conference’s second seed, while Cincinnati remains on the edge of the automatic playoff places with two games left.
