Minority leadership tussle disrupts Reps plenary

Lawmaker Philip Agbese accused fellow lawmaker Ikenga Ugochinyere of forging his signature on a nomination document for the Minority Leader position. The accusation disrupted plenary proceedings in the Nigerian House of Representatives. Speaker Abbas Tajudeen assured an investigation and called a closed-door meeting. Agbese also denied allegations of receiving $50,000 to support a candidate.
