Morocco: Four returns and the major surprise of Oufkir in Ouahbi’s squad

Mohamed Ouahbi named a 26-player squad for Morocco’s matches against Niger on November 13 and 17 in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Youssef En-Nesyri, Souffian El Karouani, Reda Belahyane and Amine Sbaï return, while 20-year-old winger Ayoub Oufkir earns a call-up and is to be integrated gradually alongside Abdellah Ouazzane. Ismaël Saibari, Soufiane Rahimi, Azzedine Ounahi and Soufiane El-Faouzi are missing through injury. Ouahbi says qualification remains the priority, while the camp will also give him a chance to test combinations and provide playing time to promising players.
