The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) says two suspected Ebola cases in Adamawa State tested negative after two rounds of laboratory testing. The individuals, who had symptoms suggestive of Ebola, were isolated after the cases were reported on October 30, 2026. The NCDC said the only confirmed infection in Nigeria remains a Bundibugyo Ebola case in the Federal Capital Territory involving a traveller who arrived from Uganda. Director-General Jide Idris praised Adamawa’s response and urged the public to rely on official information and seek prompt care if symptoms develop.
