NDC sets October 26 for third NEC meeting and campaign council unveiling

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) will hold its third National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2026. The party will unveil its National Campaign Council and present its candidates with Certificates of Return. Spokesman Osa Director said the national treasurer will present the party’s accounts as part of its commitment to transparency. The NDC says about 80 percent of its candidates could not afford Expression of Interest forms, so the party provided them free of charge.
