New tensions erupt within the Executive Committee of the Senegalese Football Federation

Bacary Cissé, a member of the FSF Executive Committee and president of the Ziguinchor League, denounced alleged irregularities in appointing referees for the Amateur Football League tournament scheduled in Ziguinchor. He said unqualified volunteers without proper appointments could officiate and questioned the proposed use of people who allegedly failed CCA fitness tests or faced corruption allegations. Cissé demanded that the regulations be strictly followed and warned that the Ziguinchor League would not take part otherwise. He said the impasse could undermine the tournament and weaken FSF president Abdoulaye Fall’s mandate.
