Nnamdi Kanu: IPOB Announces APC Boycott, Orders Members to Shun Party

IPOB’s Directorate of State announced an immediate boycott of the APC ahead of the 2027 election after Nnamdi Kanu’s appeal against his terrorism conviction was not listed for hearing. Directorate head Mazi Chris Nwaogu told members to avoid APC rallies, flags and support for the party’s governors. He described the move as the first stage of political disengagement, while reaffirming IPOB’s plan for a total boycott of the 2027 general elections. Nwaogu said the organization’s priority remains Kanu’s immediate and unconditional release and the restoration of Biafra.
