Ogun Will Not Tolerate Electoral Violence, CP Ojajuni Says

Bode Ojajuni, the police commissioner and co-chairman of Ogun State’s Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security, said security agencies were committed to peaceful 2027 general elections. He spoke Tuesday at an election stakeholders’ forum at the INEC office in Abeokuta. Ojajuni called for sustained cooperation among security agencies, electoral stakeholders and traditional institutions, along with proactive security measures before, during and after the elections. He urged stakeholders to mobilise residents, indigenes and visitors for peaceful participation, saying Ogun would not tolerate electoral violence.
