One Dead After Violent Confrontation at Abuja Hotel

Joseph Terdoo, a hotel employee in Abuja’s Utako district, died after a confrontation with Samuel Net, a tiler hired by the hotel. Police responded on October 20 to reports of unusual noise on the third floor and found both men injured in Room 301. Police spokesperson Josephine Adeh said Net pushed Terdoo, who fell and hit his head on a wooden object; he was pronounced dead on arrival at Wuse District Hospital. Police Commissioner Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi urged residents to resolve disagreements peacefully and through diplomacy.
