One-on-One with Segun Sowunmi, 2027 APC Presidential Council Member

Segun Sowunmi assesses Nigeria’s 2027 presidential race and President Bola Tinubu’s chances. He argues that Atiku Abubakar has an “Emir complex” and lacks empathy for poor Nigerians. Sowunmi says Peter Obi’s Obidient movement has made enemies of nearly everybody and describes Seyi Makinde as a politician who burns bridges. He also accuses Atiku’s running mate, Rotimi Amaechi, of politicising his mother’s death.
