Ouattara considers cabinet reshuffle, tasking Mambé, Téné Birahima and Meyliet

According to Africa Intelligence, Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara, dissatisfied with the handling of several matters, is considering reshaping the government formed in late January 2026. He has reportedly tasked Vice President Tiémoko Meyliet Koné, Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé and Deputy Prime Minister Téné Birahima Ouattara with proposing RHDP figures for a possible new cabinet. The opposition parties PDCI-RDA, led by Tidjane Thiam, and PPA-CI, led by Laurent Gbagbo, are not expected to be included in the consultations. In January, Ouattara ultimately chose a limited reshuffle, mainly involving changes to ministerial portfolios.
