Oyebanji Targets Industrialisation and SMEs to Drive Ekiti Growth

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji says industrialisation, small-business development and productivity will be priorities in his second term. His plans include expanding affordable financing for small entrepreneurs, strengthening agricultural value chains and processing local commodities, and attracting investors through reforms and a one-stop service. The government is also testing a mass-transit scheme and considering compressed-natural-gas and electric vehicles to lower costs and offer more affordable transport. Oyebanji aims to turn investments in roads, electricity and agricultural infrastructure into jobs and economic growth.
