Oyo terrorist attack: IGP Disu visits communities, orders intensified rescue operation

Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, visited Oyo State following a tragic attack in Oriire Local Government Area on May 15, 2026. He expressed condolences to the families of the victims and met with security officials to discuss ongoing rescue operations. The IGP assured that the Nigeria Police Force, in collaboration with other agencies, is intensifying search-and-rescue efforts to secure the return of the abducted victims.
