Pakistan: 35 killed in school collapse; owner arrested

The roof of Al-Khair Education Centre, a private school in Peshawar, collapsed during classes, bringing down part of the building. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called for an investigation, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province ordered safety inspections at schools.

Gassama praised efforts by victims of the former regime and their supporters, saying the episode should warn leaders who violate rights and good-governance principles.
