Pat Utomi reacts to heated clash between Peter Obi and Tinubu supporters

A viral video shows supporters of Peter Obi, the Nigeria Democratic Congress candidate, and President Bola Tinubu clashing in a heated podcast debate. Tinubu’s supporters defended his administration’s performance over the past three years, while Obi’s supporters rejected that assessment and urged them to visit the market to see the situation for themselves. Political economy professor Pat Utomi praised Generation Z’s political awareness in a post on X, saying their loyalty cannot be bought with bread, rice or other handouts. He said young people will tell elected officials to their faces when they are failing to perform.
