PDP expels two Gombe chieftains over anti-party activities

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled two of its chieftains in Gombe State, Hon. Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki and Hon. Usman Aliyu Garry, over alleged anti-party activities and gross misconduct. National Publicity Secretary Jungudo Haruna Mohammed announced the decision after the party’s Disciplinary Committee findings were considered by the relevant party organs. The PDP said the process respected their right to a fair hearing and that both men had lost their membership and all associated rights and privileges.

Ogun 2027: Adebutu dismisses omission from INEC list

Oladipupo Adebutu, the PDP governorship candidate in Ogun State, called his omission from INEC’s list of candidates a temporary distraction and said it would not stop him from contesting in 2027.
