PPA-CI – Dano Djédjé: 17 Charges, the Sword of Damocles Hangs Over Him

Sébastien Dano Djédjé, vice-president of the Strategic and Political Council of PPA-CI, is under judicial supervision after his hearing by the anti-terrorism section of the Abidjan court. He faces 17 charges including terrorism, participation in an insurrectional movement, endangering state security, organizing banned protests, as well as accusations of murder, destruction of public property, theft in a group, and illegal arms possession. Although he returned home after the hearing, he remains under threat of prosecution and is prohibited from leaving Ivory Coast without judicial permission. During a rally on October 10, he appeared confident despite the serious charges.
