Qatar’s Emir meets Iran’s Pezeshkian in Moscow

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian met Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on the sidelines of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum in Moscow on October 27. Iranian state television said they reviewed relations between Tehran and Doha and stressed expanding political and economic ties. The leaders reportedly also discussed greater cooperation in the energy sector. The Iranian account did not mention discussion of the US-Israel war on Iran, while Doha continues mediation efforts.
