Ronaldo’s among three Saudi Arabia games postponed due to Houthi attacks | Football | Al Jazeera

Saudi Arabia’s football league postponed three fixtures, including one involving Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr, due to increased missile threats from Yemen’s Houthis. The matches of matchweek nine were rescheduled for logistical reasons and minimum rest periods, with the Al Ahli vs. Al Nassr game moved to March 6, 2027, and other matches to December 19. Additionally, an AFC Champions League match was delayed after a missile fired by the Houthis was intercepted near Riyadh, following recent Houthi missile attacks that caused casualties at King Khalid International Airport.
